Gōst Pepper is a Boston-based composer, songwriter, and producer. He uses music and sound design to create a world of audio storytelling. His music incorporates elements of electronic, hip-hop, RnB, alternative rock, progressive, and new wave. His biggest influences are The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Gorillaz, Daft Punk, and The Cinematic Orchestra.
In addition to creating originals, he also composes music and sound effects for video games and film. Recently he has composed for the games Death by Frostbyte (2021) and Nihmory (2022).
Gōst Pepper is also experienced in electronic and acoustic production and recording. He has worked with a variety of artists including Kelsey Blackstone (“Superstitions,” “From a Girl on the Moon”) and Fragile Statue (“Tera,” “Leaving Tibet”).
In addition to his musical and artistic work, Gōst Pepper is also a founding member and treasurer of Boston-based organization Hug The Tree. The organization began during the COVID-19 pandemic to create a high-quality livestream performance space for local Boston-area artists while also raising money for local causes. They are now expanding into hosting live events to create a cooperative community of local artists.
